Organizations We Support
Lion Guardians is a conservation organization dedicated to finding and enacting long-term solutions for people and lions to coexist across Kenya and Tanzania. Lion Guardians currently trains and supports a team of more than 80 East Africans who are actively protecting lions covering approximately 5,500 sq. kms (1.3 million acres). We are committed to workable solutions that are scientifically-driven.
The Soft foot alliance is dedicated to improving the lives and landscapes of people living on the boundary of Hwange national park and at the same time achieving a sustainable co-existence with wildlife.
The world’s only bonobo sanctuary, Lola ya Bonobo, rescues and rehabilitates these great apes from the notorious bush meat trade. Located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lola stands on the front line in the battle to protect bonobos from extinction.
Bonobos, our closest living primate relatives, are female-led and are the most peaceful and amorous of all great apes.
In the forests of Cameroon, habitat destruction, and the illegal, commercial ape meat trade are driving chimpanzees rapidly toward extinction. While vulnerable populations dwindle, individuals suffer unimaginably. The chimpanzees who die violently in the forest at the hands of poachers are not the only victims of the illegal ape meat trade. Infants who survive the hunt can be sold as pets in Cameroon or smuggled out of the country into North Africa and Asia, ultimately condemned to malnutrition, disease, loneliness and misery. In Defense of Animals-Africa is giving orphans a second chance to live with dignity and joy in the enclosed tracts of lush habitat forest at our Sanaga-Yong Chimpanzee Rescue. They currently care for 72 chimpanzees, ranging in age from two to over fifty-years-old.
The Sanaga-Yong Chimpanzee Rescue Center occupies over two square kilometers and is currently home to 72 chimpanzees and five to eight humans at any one time. It employs 25 Cameroonians from local villages who serve as chimpanzee caregivers, round-the-clock security guards, and groundskeepers. The grounds include cabins for volunteers, a combination kitchen/office building, a vet clinic, an education center, a shelter for staff meetings and meals, chimpanzee enclosures and cages, and a small garden where some of the food for the chimpanzees is grown.

The SanWild Wildlife Trust was established in 2000 as a non-profit animal welfare trust to assist wild animals in need. One of our main objectives was to provide a protected wildlife reserve where rescued animals could be returned back into the wild to live their lives and raise their young.
Today the SanWild Wildlife Sanctuary, spanning more than 12 000 acres, play a meaningful role in wildlife conservation in a country where poaching, unethical hunting, mutant or more specifically the breeding of genetically modified creatures, pose a major threat to ethical and bio-diversity conservation.
Born Free USA is a national animal advocacy nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, contributions to which are tax-deductible. Their mission is to end the suffering of wild animals in captivity, rescue individual animals in need, protect wildlife — including highly endangered species — in their natural habitats, and encourage compassionate conservation globally.
Every year, millions of animals suffer in fur farms and circus cages. In their campaigns against such cruelties, they use powerful tools including legislation, public education, litigation, and grassroots networking. They also work actively with media to spread the word about challenges facing animals.
